UNBEATABLE gets playable demo on PC and PS5

UNBEATABLE

Publisher Playstack and developer D-CELL have announced a new playable demo for UNBEATABLE, their long-awaited rhythm-adventure game.

The new UNBEATABLE playable demo is now available for PC (via Steam) and PlayStation 5 (via the PlayStation Store).

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a trailer:

So! Bullet points on the UNBEATABLE demo:

  • The new demo is available both on Steam and PS5. You can, for real, just walk over to your Playstation and tell it to put a bit of UNBEATABLE on your TV for free. (As the button is pushed on this newsletter I am literally about to go do this exact thing)
  • That bit of UNBEATABLE has a bit from the story mode
  • There’s also a bit from the arcade mode. All the songs from [white label] exist here from the jump, plus we’ll be rotating in and out new songs from the roster of new tracks (right now it’s FUTURE PEOPLE and SLEEPING IN!)
  • Everything is non-final so please be nice to us
  • Like, seriously, there is so much stuff we are still working on. Some you might not even notice in the final game! Some you ABSOLUTELY will
  • It’s only in English right now but French, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese are all coming in a patch soon!
  • that’s kind of it because i don’t want to say too much
  • because that’s your job! talk about it on our [discord] but again please be nice to us

I feel insane writing this because this is the first time people are getting to actually take a real look at this thing. Guys, [white label] came out in 2021. That’s four years ago. I’m old, and so are you.

This, compared to that, is…well, again, I won’t say too much because I want you to experience it yourself, except that if you’ve played [white label] you probably should check this out more-immediately-than-immediately. And then tell your friends and yell about it and stream it and do all the things we’re supposed to tell you to do.

But mostly wishlist it and follow it!

Much love and talk more soon.

UNBEATABLE is set to launch sometime in 2025 for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
