Developer Seed Lab announced console ports and a new release window for Starsand Island, their cozy farming / life simulator game.
Starsand Island is launching sometime this winter for Windows PC (via Steam) and now consoles across Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PS5.
A crowdfunding campaign (via Kickstarter) is planned to help finish development on the game.
“We’re incredibly excited to reintroduce Starsand Island to the world and debut our brand-new trailer as part of the inaugural Galaxies showcase,” said Richardo Wang, Game Producer at Seed Lab. “This is a project that means a lot to our team, and we can’t wait for players to get a deeper look at the world we’re building. Galaxies feels like the perfect place to share what’s next for Starsand Island and the journey ahead.”
Seed Lab producer Golton Gao added, “We’ve poured so much love into crafting an experience that’s all about comfort, creativity, and connection. Starsand Island is the kind of game we wish we had growing up—a peaceful escape where players can express themselves, explore at their own pace, and build something meaningful, either solo or with friends.”
